A fresher's perspective
The initial days were cribbing days. The weather! (Guess where I am from!). Next, the admission procedure. Then the usual laments – washrooms, insects, mess, 7:55 AM classes and laundry. To cap it all, we have to be in our blocks by 7:00 PM!!! But once I got to know my batch-mates, there was no looking back.
Time behaves strangely here. You have lots of time to explore the campus and the beach or have endless discussions about random topics. Suddenly, the mid-sem exams begin. In a blink, that‘s over and you are back home.
The feeling that NITK is an integral part of us and we are a part of NITK is slowly seeping in. As freshmen, we are presented with new opportunities in every field with a blend of the legacy of the institute and the influence of talented and experienced seniors.
Looking forward for a wonderful time ahead!
